Future Female – Accra Launch

Future Females in partnership with The GirlFund Organization has launched its first Chapter in Ghana.  Speaking at the launch of the Chapter Lauren Dallas, a co-founder of the organization, stated that Future Females exists to increase the number of and success of female entrepreneurs across sectors. We are the go-to destination for the key resources (community, inspiration, business skills development and education, and support) that women need to start and grow successful businesses.

She also stated that that Future Females has been able to achieve this through the following:

  • Creating a platform that connects, inspires and supports existing and aspiring female entrepreneurs. Future Females is building a community, physically, digitally, and emotionally where women can grow – in business skills and personal skills, where they can share, test, fail and be okay doing all of it!
  • Monthly hosted events that focuses on a specific theme in business and personal development.
  • Opportunity for female entreprenuers to enrol in the Future Females Business School – a  three month virtual incubator that takes female entrepreneurs through 90 days of testing their business idea, and equipping them with the necessary business skills to grow a profitable business.

The partnership between Future Females and The GirlFund to launch the the Accra chapter will see a lot more female entrepreneurs connect, share ideas and network together. The GirlFund Organization was selected as the ideal implementing organization in Ghana because of the mutually held interest of economically empoweiring women in business. The Team Lead at The GirlFund Organization, Ms Nana Adwoa Koranteng,  is delighted about the partnership and encouraged many more women who are have started or looking to start their own businesses to take advantage of the monthly events.
